Ahhhhhh yes! My very own Voyager web page! (I never thought I'd see the day!) This page shall be solely contributed to my favourite characters from the series...aswell as a bit of useless information! Enjoy!
First and foremost, probably the most unique thing about the series is the female captain, Captain Katherine janeway, and a fine job she does too! Definatly more human than Jon Luc Picard...(allthough I might get a bit of hate mail about that!). At least she knows how to fire a photon torpedo!
Chakotay however is a very strong first officer. He wares a tattoo on his face to honor his father who's ancesters were of the "rubber tree" people or the "sky spirits". He is greatly attached to his heritage now allthough not so in his earlier years!
The Doctor (as he hasn't choosen a name yet) is an emergency medical hologram and is definatly one of my favourite characters in the series. His vanity is apparent although not without reason. He is a vital character for the crew and although doesn't realise it...contributes to the humer in the series.
Kes is from a race called the Occompa, a race which usually only lives for an average of 9 years. She is a very deep character, always happy to lend support to the crew. When she first arived, herself and Nelix were an item but she left the series in a dramatic episode shortly after 7 of 9 appeared after the war between species 8472 and the Borg. She is also an assistant to the doctor.
Harry Kim is almost like the baby of the crew! Always trying to impress and feels realy unconfident when he makes a mistake or lets the crew down in some way. Lately, he has definatly developed a sence of self-worth and confidence probably mainly because of his best frien Tom Paris. Janeway always seems to pamper him almost like her own child.
Tom Paris is definatly one of the bigest characters of the series. He was thrown into prison and is reluctant totalk about the reason. The Voyager mission was his first ticket out of the prision in New Zeland. He quickly became frinds with Harry Kim as he found it hard to make friends on the ship after his crime. He is a definate ladies man and risk taker and a fine addition to the crew. Nelix did feel threatened by him however when he thought he had something going on with Kes!
Nelix joined the crew with Kes on the first episode. He is forever devoted to the mission to get home and shows Janeway that he will do anything to help. he currently works as a cook on the ship and his dishes are.....unique! He also likes to think of himself as a moral officer and Janeway uses his knowladge of the Delta quadrant to get a glimps of what is ahead. His character is full of energy and his generosity knows no bounds.
Bellana Torres is a very strong character in the series although she constantly is in conflict with her breed, her being half Human, half Klingon, you can see why! She is headstrong and a great engineer with great ideas and a strong sence of duty......now. She and Tom Paris are currently in something of an affair and are obviously both able for each other!
7 of 9 : The new arrival. Once a part of the extreamly powerfull cyborg race called the Borg, she now tries to face her humanity after being assimalated for so many years. Her "people" skills need a lot of work and she and Bellana have their differences. Her reputation as a Borg drone precedes her in some cases and can spark off hatred tword her. She still has some of the Borg implants and the Nano-probes, both of which give her super human strenght and her years of thinking like a Borg have given her an almost inexhaustabe and unquestionable logic. Some of the crew may still hold a grudge but all in all....she quickly became one of my favourite characters in the series. (A 7 of 9 screen theme will be available shortly)
